World AIDS Day Observed at Santhivardhana Ministries

Venue: Santhivardhana Special Residential School, Pulimeru
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Santhivardhana Ministries organised a compassionate and meaningful outreach programme for children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. As part of this initiative, food provisions worth ₹2,000 each were distributed to 70 children from the mandals of Yeleswaram, Prathipadu, Kirlampudi, Peddapuram, and Jaggampeta.
This programme aimed to extend care, solidarity, and hope to vulnerable children and their families, while also raising awareness on the importance of support, destigmatisation, and inclusive community action.
The event was graced by esteemed guests and frontline service providers working tirelessly in the field of HIV/AIDS care and support:

Conducting of Village/Community Level awareness meetings with the help of IEC & BCC materials on HIV/AIDS
Santhivardhana has conducted village level awareness meetings with the help of IEC & BCC material in Tirupati and Chandramampalli villages with the participation of youth, women, girls and community. Preventive methods of HIV/AIDS and importance of HIV test in PPTCT (Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission) to pregnant mothers for the prevention of mother to child HIV/AIDS transmission. Providing sensitization on Protective sex methods and demonstration of condom for protective sex from STIs, STDs and HIV/AIDS.
School level awareness campaigns on HIV/AIDS
A ministry has conducted awareness campaign to school children on HIV/AIDS through a external resource person from St. Paul’s Trust for the support and coordination of School Teachers. The important discussion points in this awareness campaign are: Adolescent growth of boys & girls, Body mapping and provided material on sex & sexuality. For those unfortunate children feeded with a delitious food and distributed the nutritious groceries and needy madicines by Santhivardhana by the hands of Secretary R.Veerababu, Principal Sathya veni and Peddapuram ADA Nalli Daiva Kumar on December 1st on the occation of World Aids Day.
