State Level CRE Programme
Programme on “Assessment and Management of Children with Intellectual Disability”
Santhivardhana Ministries felt greatly honoured to receive approval from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi, for conducting a State Level Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) Programme on “Assessment and Management of Children with Intellectual Disability.” The programme was approved based on the recommendation of Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Nellore. The management expresses sincere gratitude to all the authorities and organizations that supported this initiative and looks forward to their continued encouragement for organizing such meaningful programmes in the future for the benefit of professionals working with children with intellectual disabilities.
The three-day CRE programme was successfully conducted on 27th, 28th February and 1st March 2026 at TTDC Training Centre, Samalkot. The programme was organized by Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Nellore under NIEPID, Secunderabad, in collaboration with Santhivardhana Special School for Children with Intellectual Disabilities, Pulimeru.
Venue was TTC training Centre, Samalkot is so comfortable to the participents to reach easily. A total of 200 participants registered, and 196 participants attended the training programme.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Smt. K. Sri Ramani, RDO, Peddapuram, in the presence of Sri A.Y. Srinivas, Assistant Director, Disabled Welfare Department, Sri Giri Prasad, IE Coordinator, School Education Department, Kakinada, and Sri N.V.V. Prasada Rao, Principal, ETC Training Centre. All the dignitaries were warmly welcomed and felicitated with flower bouquets. The Secretary conveyed heartfelt thanks for their gracious presence and encouragement.

Mr. K.Praveen Kumar (Rehabilitation Administrator), Mr. K.Dharendra Reddy (Special Educator – Intellectual Disabilities), Mr. S.Naveen Kumar (Rehabilitation Psychologist, Hyderabad), Ms. M.Sathya Veni (Special Educator – Intellectual Disabilities- Principal, Santhivardhana Special School) Mr. S.Peddi Raju (Special Educator – Visual Impairment), Mr. B.Raja Kumar (Special Educator – Hearing Impairment) and Ms. D.Rajani (Special Educator – Intellectual Disabilities) delivered informative lectures supported by PowerPoint presentations, which helped participants clearly understand the assessment and management methods for children with intellectual disabilities.
The management expressed special appreciation to the resource persons who shared their valuable knowledge and expertise.
The Secretary also appreciated Principal Ms. Sathya Veni and the dedicated staff members who served as tutors and coordinators along with the professionals from CRC, Hyderabad. The entire Santhivardhana team worked tirelessly, demonstrating remarkable commitment and teamwork to make the programme a great success.
At the end of the programme, certificates were distributed to all participants, marking the successful completion of the CRE training on 1st March.
