Free Medical Camps & Community Health Initiatives by Santhivardhana
In collaboration with Operation Blessing India and Later OM Foundation, Kakinada, Santhivardhana has been regularly conducting free medical camps for the general poor and marginalized community. These camps provide free health check-ups, medical consultations, and distribution of free medicines, ensuring access to basic healthcare for those who cannot afford it.
Medical camps are usually organized at Santhivardhana school campuses, Panchayat offices, and community halls, making healthcare easily accessible to rural and underserved populations. Among these, the medical camps conducted in Rajavommangi tribal villages have been especially successful, with strong community participation and high impact due to the lack of regular healthcare facilities in these remote areas.
Along with medical services, Santhivardhana also distributes nutritious food, health tonics, and essential items such as blankets and towels to needy individuals during the camps, addressing both immediate health and basic welfare needs.
Santhivardhana is also actively supporting farmers’ welfare and agricultural sustainability by creating awareness on organic farming practices to improve soil fertility and ensure a healthier environment for future generations. In collaboration with DASRA and Rebuild India Fund, Santhivardhana organized medical camps for cattle and livestock farmers, covering animals such as cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, hens, and dogs. These camps focused on animal health care, disease prevention, and awareness of government facilities and schemes available for farmers.
With technical support from ATMA, Kakinada, these initiatives benefited over 300 farmers directly, while awareness programs reached more than 600 men and women farmers across various villages. Free veterinary medicines were distributed to support livestock health and productivity.
These medical and awareness camps are being conducted with the support of local donors and contributions from Santhivardhana, reflecting a strong community-driven approach to health, livelihood security, and sustainable rural development.
